The Walsh family has a long family tradition in Thoroughbreds and horses, which Ryan Walsh continues to this day as the third generation. His grandparents owned and operated a flourishing horse riding business in New York. In 1997, Ryan’s great uncle, Mickey Walsh, was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame as a trainer. In 2005, Ryan’s uncle, Tommy Walsh, was also inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame as a steeplechase jockey. Ryan’s father and mother paired up as a successful training team and continue racing many prominent racehorses. Ryan started exercising horse's under Bill Mott after he graduated college. He work for the Mott stable for 4 years before going out on his own training mostly for his family. Ryan's record speaks for itself and the care the horses received is matched by no one in the business. If you are looking for a trainer that will exceed all of your expectations, look no futher.
